The Beginning:
Midwest Legacy Films was born in 2022. It was born after a family reached out regarding the creation of a video for their son who was entering the end stages of his life.
The son was a young man in his 20s with a rare case of encephalitis. With this diagnosis, his brain was becoming more inflamed and his body was attacking itself. He had slowly been deteriorating for over 15 years (when he was first diagnosed).
This was the first time Luke, the founder of Midwest Legacy Films, created this type of video. It had a dramatic impact. Creating videos that would honor and remember the lives of people had unparalleled meaning. A few months after the family was given the video, Midwest Legacy Films was born.

Where Things Are Now:
In 2024, Midwest Legacy Films serves families in Minnesota and at the the Midwest at large. There are four kinds of videos we help families with: Legacy Interviews, Celebration of Life Tribute Films, Family History Documentaries, and Legacy Films.
All these videos revolve around preserving the life and story of Loved One’s so that their lives will be remembered and cherished long after their departure from this earth.
