Honoring-Sentimental-Lasting
Legacy Films
A legacy film is a video that honors, preserves, and celebrates the impact your loved one has on the people and environment around them.
Honor their legacy
Honor your loved one by having a video created that is all about them. Their life, their story, and their impact.
Preserve their life
Live with peace of mind knowing that your loved one will be known by future family members who they will never get the chance to meet.
Inspire a future generation
Your loved one’s life can live on and continue to encourage, impact, and inspire future family members and friends long after they are gone.
Here is an example
Legacy Film
This will give you an idea of what a Legacy Film looks like and some of the aspects that are highlighted.
The two primary reasons legacy films are created: preservation and inspiration
Legacy Films take an in-depth look at the life, experiences, stories, and the impact your loved on has had on their family, friends, and the environment around them. These aspects help preserve the events that have occurred and inspire future family members who will be around when the subject(s) gone.
What To Expect
Here are the different ways we can honor your loved one through a Legacy Film.
Compelling Visual Storytelling
One of the major advantages of using video to honor and preserve someone’s story opposed to any other medium is the authenticity and effectiveness it provides when telling someone’s story. The ability to watch people’s first person accounts of how your loved one has been significant in their life easily creates a compelling story that a scrapbook, a blog post, or any other medium can’t live up to.
Conversational Documentary-Style Interview
Often times there is an uncomfortability with being filmed. When someone is uncomfortable you don’t see important aspects of their personality and their responses tend to lack the depth or fullness that would otherwise exist. This is why we have a conversational approach to each interview. People don’t feel uncomfortable when they are simply talking with a friend so we aim to make it as friendly and natural as possible.
Comprehensive Approach
Everything is planned out and each question is pre-approved with the people being interviewed. This way there are no surprises and people are as comfortable as possible going into an interview.
High-Production Value Look and Feel
Each interview is shot with multiple 4k cameras, professional sound and lighting equipment. This helps ensure that everyone looks and sounds their best during the interview.
Sound Design, Photos, B-Roll, and More
Traditional legacy films suffer from one major problem: they tend to be boring. What good is a video if no one watches it or it feels boring? That’s a video that will soon be lost and forgotten.
To fight against this unfortunate tendency in the legacy film world, we use every element at our finger tips to bring this video to life. This includes beautifully crafting sound design, photos that we take or are given by family/friends, and many other elements to ensure that the video tells your loved one’s story effectively and is highly engaging.
